Philippine government supports the Filipino people, especially those people with disability.

According to Philippine law, under the Magna Carta of Disabled Persons R.A7277, R.A 9442 and R.A 10754, “The state is duty-bound to recognize the rights, protect, and support PWDs through various social systems”.

PWD ID

Obviously, all the people with impaired and disability are authorized to use the PWD ID Card to present in any establishment, services, and agencies. The purpose is to have the right and privileges for discounts and benefits.

PWD ID APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1:

Proceed to the PERSON WITH DISABILITY AFFAIRS OFFICE. You can submit them to any following offices.

  • Health Office
  • Office of the Mayor
  • Barangay Captain Office
  • NCDA office (for urgent cases)
  • Social Welfare and Development Office (City or Municipality)
  • City hall or municipality hall that has Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO).

STEP 2:

Secure and carefully fill-out the Application Form and bring the following requirements.

  • 1×1 Picture (4 pcs)
  • 2×2 Picture (1 pc)
  • Barangay Indigency Certificate
  • Medical Certificate of Disability

STEP 3:

  • Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) will immediately process the application.

Note: The PWD ID may be claimed within the same day. Except for those that are subject for verification.
