There are three (3) easy steps to verify SSS UMID Application status. The verification of your UMID application required your personal information to clarify on their records that you are the one who claims your UMID application.
This is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to all government offices, so make cooperate with them. Basically, verification of your status takes a couple of minutes depends on how busy the current progress of their services.
1. SSS CONTACT INQUIRIES
For verification, inquiries or you want to apply a UMID card, you can reach their SSS Trunkline No. (632) 920-6401. For the SSS Call Center No. are (632) 920-6446 to 55 and it is available 24/5 which available 24 hours weekdays except Saturday to Sunday. If you’re trying to call their hotline, make sure that you prepare your complete information for them to verify your current account like SSS Number, Complete Name, Date of Birth, Date of UMID Application, etc.
There is a situation that is difficult to contact them especially during the daytime, so much better to call them at night since their support is available 24 hours.
2. SSS Email Identity Management Department
SSS email is also available on their services, for UMID application concerns, you may send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com at their SSS Identity Management Department.
Once you send an email to them it usually responds within two (2) to three (3) working days. However, for more concern and questions, you can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
3. Visit the Nearest SSS Branch
The Last resort that you may try is to visit on their any nearest branches to your current location to verify the status of your UMID card application.
The SSS representative if explain to you if what is the cause of your UMID card application delay. Just to make sure that you provided the required details of your application, so they will check immediately on their system and tracked the process of your current location.
If your application is already sent to the courier, you may request them the Common Reference Number (CRN) or the Philpost tracking number so you were able to claim it at your local Post Office.
You can also track/trace the status of your UMID card application to PhilPost website at https://tracking.phlpost.gov.ph.
Important Notice: The Social Security System (SSS) will be deliver your UMID application through PhilPost. It is usually takes five (5) to seven (7) working days for Metro Manila, seven (7) to ten (10) working days for outside the Metro Manila and some of the remote areas takes ten (10) to twenty (20) working days.
However, some situations that the delivery for the UMID cards application takes for more than thirty (30) working days. This is also based on my experience last 2017, that my UMID card application delivered for forty (45) days.
